Marco is a successful entrepreneur and investor with over 25 years of experience in
media, technology, and the live events industry. He is the Founder and CEO of Vesuvio Ventures, where he collaborates with startups, venture and private equity investors, and corporate innovators, serving in roles such as coach, advisor, interim executive, board member, or angel investor. Prior to launching his entrepreneurial journey, Marco held a successful corporate executive role at Apple.
Following his time at Apple, Marco co-founded several ventures, including Mind Opener, a leading Latin American publishing group acquired by Pearson; e-mind, a media communications company sold to Liberty Media; and Mind Trainer, later known as Reed Exhibitions, which was acquired by Reed Elsevier. Marco is a graduate of the OPM program at Harvard Business School and a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization). He is a frequent speaker at industry events and co-author of The Face of Digital and Reinventing Live, both of which explore the evolving role of digital technologies in the live events industry. He also hosts the Leaderpass Business of Events Masterclass program.
